American Megatrends told me to get BIOS source code to license it. Kindly assist. Thank you.

You generally don't need to care about BIOS/UEFI at all as a user.

What would be the reason for you to update it? If everything works as it should the best course of action is to not upgrade.

Also you're in the wrong forums section.

If you are having some hardware troubles or facing some slowdowns or hiccups you can update the bios by downloading it from the MyAsus app.

Otherwise don't bother about the bios

Go to my Asus app on windows and then click on the system information of your laptop...
Then see the firmware version. It should be like ux425.xxx the integer after the dot represent your bios version.
Then check the MyAsus app for any firmware or bios update. Also you can check if there is an optional update in windows update as "AsusTek - Firmware".

Also try troubleshooting the windows update by searching windows update troubleshoot in windows settings.
