Does ROG 2 support "Bypass Charging"?
If yes, then I would suggest using that. It basically allows you to use your phone while plugged in, without charging or discharging the battery.
If no, it's better not to charge while you play. Although it won't make a significant difference immediately, in the long run, it will affect the battery health drastically.
