I have noticed that my display doesn't turn off most of the times if i leave it unlocked or when it's locked and put for charge. It stays on for as long as i notice it and press the lock button.
My display sleep time is set to 1 minute. But the display is on for more than 5/10 mins.

Check in setting - display - smart screen. if it Is on then your screen is stay on until you are looking at it or hold device in upright position. Make sure to turn it off in settings. Also if you enable developers option , check if you enable never lock screen when charging. Turn if off

Did that solve your issue? Or is your display still staying on for too long even after verifying your settings?
