My ROG PHONE 2 DISPLAY doesn't sleep when i keep the phone on charge until i press the lock key.

In Settings>Display>Sleep, do you have the sleep timer set to "Never"?

No. I've set it to 30 seconds. Infact there is no option as Never in that list.
