Make sure you follow the exact steps:
1. Open any game which used to auto launch game genie.
2. Phone Settings- search game genie and if a pop up comes, go to app info.
3. Force stop the app (do not disable)
4. Clear cache
5. Delete s betorage data
Do it twice. Close the setting and go back to settings again.
Search game genie and it'll auto launch. Provide permissions.
These steps reset the genie and when you go back to the game you opened in the beginning, it'll initiate the tutorial of game genie. You're now ready to set it up as per your requirement.
It worked for me on Rog 7. Make sure you follow the exact order.
