As a gaming phone, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro excels in many areas, but there’s one particular feature that could greatly improve the user experience — manual audio input and output management.
Currently, when using wireless earbuds during a Discord call, the audio quality drops significantly because Bluetooth limits bandwidth when both the mic and audio are active. To communicate clearly, users have to sacrifice audio quality, which can be quite frustrating.
If the phone had a universal audio routing system — not restricted to specific apps but available in the general settings — users could manually select where the audio is routed and which device handles the microphone input. For example, I could use my wireless earbuds for audio output while simultaneously using a wireless Type-C microphone for input.
This setup would allow high-quality sound and clear voice input at the same time since the Type-C mic uses a dedicated bandwidth similar to Wi-Fi rather than Bluetooth. Implementing such a feature would make the ROG Phone 9 Pro even more versatile and user-friendly for gamers and content creators alike.

There is a high chance that this would also fix the problem with whatsapp buzzing bug that others encountered as i discovered the issue was related to a bad microphone input handling and noise cancelling from whatsapp
