Reopen Thread: ROG 8 Battery Drain

From 70% to 40% real quick without playing, Any update regarding this? My Partner's ROG 8 still drains really fast compared to my unit. We could provide logs from the phone if needed for the devs to check. Just give us the instructions and we'll assist so we can have a fix for this on-going issue.

That was happening to me with the newest version and I had to factory reset several times and that was it. The battery no longer drains but what does happen is that it gets hot out of nowhere. Is that happening to you?

This happens with my Partner's ROG, there are times that she said that her unit gets hot as well. So doing factory reset is the only fix to your battery drain issue?  It would be great if devs would come up with a proper fix for it

For me the battery is kinda strange to. One day i have superior battery life the other day it draining the first 20% crazy fast. Its like it lose it battery calibration sometimes it is weird behavior.

Yeah, could be bugs in the Software? Hopefully this gets noticed by devs.
