On December 11, 2024, at 3:30 PM, ASUS released an update to enhance the Game Genie app by expanding its supported game list. Unfortunately, an unexpected error occurred during the update process, causing the app to malfunction for some users. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and are committed to resolving the issue promptly.
We are currently preparing a fixed version of the Game Genie APK, which will be made available for download on the ASUS official website as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you urgently need to address this issue, you can follow the troubleshooting steps below:
Important Note:
Please be aware that following these steps will reset all previous settings within the Game Genie app (except for macros). You will need to reconfigure them after completing the process.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Check Network Connection:
Ensure your device is connected to the internet.
2. Access Settings:
Open your device's settings and navigate to "Apps & Notifications."
3. View All Apps:
Under the "Recently opened apps" section, select "See all apps."
4. Show System Processes:
Tap the menu icon in the top-right corner and enable "Show system"
5. Locate Game Genie:
Find and select "Game Genie" from the app list.
6. Clear Storage:
Go to "Storage & Cache" and tap "Clear storage."
7. Advanced Feature Settings:
Return to Settings and navigate to "Advanced" > "Game Genie." Ensure that notification permissions are enabled.
8. Restart Your Device:
After completing the steps above, restart your device.
9. Verify the Fix:
Once restarted, go to Settings > Advanced Features > Game Genie. Tap "Manage Game List" to ensure the game list is displayed correctly.

Can you try force closing the app and then deleting the cache and storage? This seems to work for most people.
