Dualshock 3 wireless support?

The dualshock 3 from Sony is my favourite controller of all times. But... with my Rog Phone 7U (and Android, in general) it just works wired. Any chance to see native wireless support? Actually, an app to do this exists, but needs root access, therefore, bootloader unlocked, but bootloader unlocking is not available anymore. Anyway, i really couldn't care less about rooting, i'd just like to have wireless support for my dualshock 3. Any chance that could happen?

I was doing some research and it seems that is the case, and it's mostly of how the bluetooth connection is made, sadly it can't be connected wirelessly through normal means.
