I've pre-ordered my phone here in the UK. I chose this over other gaming phones as it has better update support (I had a rog phone 2 which died, then I tried the redmagic 6s pro, which is a good phone but the software support is so bad).

I know this won't go anywhere, but my job is done if this thread gets acknowledged or fed back as feedback to the Devs/Asus management team.

Fortunately, so far I'm enjoying and have no issues with my rog 6 and the battery life for me is amazing. Yes, I've seen people report issues with previous iterations of the rog phones which I've never owned. But even when I had the rog 2 I really liked it and the battery life stayed as it was years after heavy use.

I'm still going to make changes by enabling 'slow charge' mode when charging the phone and also capping it to 80 percent to reduce degrade rate.

It is absurd to argue with him. He says that we are in constant denial, but he is the one in constant denial. He is annoyed that people are happy with the phone and he is not able to admit it. The funny thing is that he discusses about a phone that he doesn't even have and hasn't even been able to test, he bases all his arguments on a few rog5 bugs. And worst of all, he is disrespectful to people who don't think like him. According to him, all of us who have a rog6 are Asus fanboys, blinded, without technical knowledge of any kind. Sir, if you know that much, if you're that smart, if you know that much, send a resume to Asus and make your own phones, but stop putting shit and garbage in here. RESPECT OTHERS. If the phones fail, warranty. Three year warranty. Damn, before the warranty is up, I bought another phone, and I can still use the warranty if it breaks, hahaha, I don't have to live worrying about the design being bad or the IC burning out, or the audio being bad .. mature .. you don't have to be a scientist or an eminence in technology to buy a phone.

Reminder that you will come back crying about how the phone broke on you and have to pay for logicboard replacement asking people who told you for help because you're in denial.

Yes yes, sure, when my motherboard breaks, I'll come to you. Going to an Asus technician to fix it during the 3-year warranty is absurd. The best Asus technician in the world is you. I'll keep it in mind.
