Good day.

Phone: ROG Phone 5 (ZS673KS) - not Rooted
Firmware: WW-31.0810.1226.154 [downgraded from WW-33.0210.0210.200]
SN: M2AIKN064236Z87, [actually in service RMA: PLB4R62262 but I'll get it back in few days]

Main problem is that system (WW/EU/RU) can't upgrade to Android 13 (WW-33.0210.0210.200) from  WW-31.0810.1226.154 using manual or automatic update methods - when system see update file in main directory it will ask to update, if I select Yes it always fail.
From version WW-31.0810.1226.146 (A12) i've upgraded to WW-33.0210.0210.200 (A13) without any problems or warrings.

From that reason is in subject "downgrade ... to version WW-31.0810.1226.146", and after that I can finally update to A13
Alternate solution of problem could be way to upgrade directly from WW-31...154 to WW-33...200 - i think it's easer way.

If ASUS employees acually working of solution of this problem or new version of android 13 please give me a message.
Or if now it's dangerous to upgrade system to A13 WW-33.0210.0210.200 please let me known.

Thank you for reading message and any help.

  1. Downgrading to version WW-31.0810.1226.146:
    a. Download the firmware file for version WW-31.0810.1226.146 from a reliable source.
    b. Transfer the firmware file to the root directory of your phone's internal storage.
    c. Reboot your phone into Recovery mode. You can usually do this by holding the Power button and Volume Down button simultaneously.
    d. In the Recovery mode, select "Apply update from internal storage" or a similar option, and then choose the firmware file you transferred.
    e. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the firmware. Make sure to read and understand any warnings or prompts before proceeding.
  2. Upgrading to A13 (WW-33.0210.0210.200):
    a. Ensure that you have a stable internet connection.
    b. Go to the "System Updates" section in your phone's Settings.
    c. Check for updates and see if the A13 update (WW-33.0210.0210.200) is available.
    d. If the update is available, proceed with the installation by following the on-screen instructions. Make sure your phone has sufficient battery charge and storage space.

This was the rational and well-founded assumption I made based on my research. If it works let me know.

There isn't any option to apply firmware from file in ROG Phone 5 recovery mode.

I had it in ZenFone 6.

I did this before and it works! Thanks.
