Discord floating window bugged?

I usually just used floating window for Twitch or Youtube to watch something while farming in Summoners War but then when someone texted me on Discord to communicate in the upcoming Siege War I thought to myself "omg floating window is perfect for discord so I can play and chat at the same time without tabbing out!"
Well sadly i got disappointed. It opens for like 5 seconds then goes straight to fullscreen. Why is that? Is it a bug? Please fix this! Discord floating Window would be perfect to communicate and strategize while playing. 😁

@ElectriczZ Everything is working fine on my device using Discord version 109.9 (stable) from Google Play.
Open Discord -> Recent apps -> Press app icon -> Open as window
If you're still encountering this issue, please clear cache files system-wide and reboot your device:
Settings -> Advanced -> Mobile Manager -> Cleanup -> Scan cache -> Clean -> Reboot your device
You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the Discord app and try again.
