Is it just the hotfix or does it also include security update + xmode turn on when starting app via armory?

While I can understand if the armory crate update doesnt get in, a simple merge from the google repo should be relatively stress free no?

As far as I know, it's only this issue but I might be wrong, I just haven't gotten more info than just this, I have other bug rapports in the works.

Aight, its debatable wheter or not the xmode thing is a bug or not, since there have been some redesigns in terms of performance without xmode and locked refreshrate on xmode, but could you real quick ask the team to merge the security udpate from google into the next firmware? It shouldnt take more than 30minutes since they will compile the firmware tomorrow anyways.

Usually the security update required a lot of testing. It can break thing.
An example is Zenfone 8. It broke screen cast after May patch. Thankfully it didn't happen on the other devices.

I got an answer, the Security Update is scheduled for 2022-08-05.
