Problem with Accessibility setting: color invertion

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help: Whenever you activate color invertion it blacks out the screen completely in white/dark theme. If you happen to have it activated and accidentally exit the settings ur gonna get locked out of ur phone (which is a big problem)

Rooted or not: Not
Frequency of Occurrence: If activated
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): Settings?

I updated the phone today and it seems to work now. I have no idea what was wrong.

ROG3 A11 .172 WW non-root.
COLOR INVERSION does NOT work properly at AUTO and 144Hz mode - screen goes VERY black with a few things marked in ORANGE.
At 60/90/120 it seems to work though.
Clearing accessibility settings cache + storage and re-starting the device did NOT HELP.
