inbuilt QR code scanner into the camera app

This is for the Asus Development team.
Is it possible to have a in built QR code scanner instead of me having to download a third party app where it is filled with annoying ads ?
Plus it is still covid19 season and I am from Singapore and I got to use the QR code scanner a lot to check in and check out of department stores/shopping malls or even eateries for contact tracing purposes.
Hope that will be a feature built into the camera app in the future.
