Well, don't drag me into your fight with Danishblunt *shrugs*
We can discuss in a nicer way.
The key is that it'll require extra work between ASUS and the carriers to test and ensure VoLTE provisioning on the devices. This was answered by the mod in one of the earlier threads. Can't recall/find which one, but it's there.
However, ASUS typically wouldn't bother to work on support for devices that are not sold in the region, so chances are the ROG Phone 3 won't get the VoLTE support in your country even if your carrier provides VoLTE. That's all.
Blatant ignorant lier:
Get out of this forum you 🤡
ktwthank you, we can have a nice discussion if everyone is like you
hey @hllsynotebook , in order for the phone to get VoLTE service, it has to:
- support the VoLTE feature;
- get support from your carriers/service providers, which requires some work between ASUS and the carriers/service providers.
Although ROG Phone 3 does have the VoLTE feature, if it is not officially imported and sold in your country (which I believe is the case for Turkey?), ASUS won't be working with your carriers to enable support for VoLTE. The sad truth, but there's nothing you can do about it.
Theoretically, you can do some XDA hacks to force enable it, but that also means that you'll have to take the risk of bricking your device if something goes wrong. You can either try that path, or simply buy another phone that gets VoLTE support from your carriers 😕.
andikurnia27Specify region & carrier, then maybe someone can give a meaningful answer. VoLTE isn't available in some areas no matter what Android version you're on, because it has to be approved and configured in collaboration with the carrier(s).
I have downgraded to ROG Phone 3 (ZS661KS) Software downgrade from Android 12 to target Image Version: WW-18.0410.2203.201 (Android 11) for WW/EU/RU/TW/IN SKU, but I still cannot see VoLTE & VoWifi menu. AmI using the correct A11 image?
dgwyes, i have the answer here already in here:
