Display has lower half of display corrupted

Lower half of screen is bright green and lower half is unreadable. I have a screen protector and case on the device and I was on it 2 seconds before I put it in my pocket and pulled it out and it looked like this. What happen and how do I fix it?? I have only had the phone since December.

@wlasala That very much looks like a broken display that needs to be replaced by service. Can you spot any visible damage or cracks when the display is turned off?

There doesn't appear to be any cracks anywhere in the display at all. We took all kinds of up close photos of it but we didn't see any cracks in it.
Seems so odd that one minute it's fine and the next the screen has basically gone on it. It's not like it was dropped or any physical damage at all. It has a rigid case and screen protector on it.
Disappointed that it's going to take 10 days to get me a reply from rma.
