Unable to connect to Wi-Fi

Problem started about 1 week ago. Before that I had no problem. If I ran the scan in privacy and security, it seemed to clear it. But now after doing that it doesn't connect to Wi-Fi. If I put hotspot on, another user connects to mine without any problem. Hope somebody can help. Thank you.

Hi, Try some of these solutions for wifi authentication problem
1- Verify the wireless network name for duplicates
2 - Modify the wireless network configuration
3 - Give the old Airplane mode a try
4 - Perform Network settings reset on Android
5 - Make sure your Android device software is up to date
6 - Factory reset your Android device
