ROG STRIX z790-A Cannot enter BIOS via F2 Del. Cannot enable Secure Mode.

updated: I'm unsure why I was unable to enter BIOS via F2 DEL. This seemed to resolve itself. Issues with the secure mode were caused by my outdated video card that was not UEFI compatible. Putting in a more modern GFX prevented the CSM from re-engaging everytime I restarted.

I then had to go through all my previous steps of reformatting the drive as GPT, and reinstalling WIN11. However, it now will accept WIN11, which is major progress.

Regarding the inability to enter BIOS, we recommend verifying if the Fast Boot option in BIOS is set to [Enabled].


If necessary, kindly consider updating to the latest BIOS version 2102 and clearing CMOS before rechecking.
