No post on new build

Star I

Good morning all.

Apologies as you may see these talks 100 times a day. I purchased a Asus A620M-Plus wifi motherboard along side a Ryzen 5 7600X. I have 2 sticks of DDR5 ram and this is from an upgrade coming from an AM4 board to AM5.

The only things I was transferring to the new board from the old is my graphics card which is a RX 5700 XT Mech OC, power supply which is a VS450, my M.2 and my HDD. The HDD has windows 11 installed on it.

I have sent the motherboard, ram and cpu to Overclockers and they've tested these items and got it to boot. Both to bios and windows 11. I assumed as my graphics card wasn't spinning in the new one but 3 fans where and I cannot get a display that maybe it was the graphics. I tried the graphics in another PC and it worked fine. I've purchased a new power supply running at 500W rather than the 450W as this seems tricky to find. I've plugged everything in and I've got absolutely nothing now. I've removed the ram and kept one stick in rather than 2. I've cleared the CMOS, I've updated the BIOS and now when I plug the power in there is nothing. I've tried removing the graphics card and putting the HDMI into the motherboard and again, this gives me nothing.

This is the 4th PC I've built and late last night gave up. I've returned this morning to again no luck. I've unplugged everything and reseated everything and still no power. Does anyone have suggestions? I just want my PC back up and running again.

Hello @Georgesmithn7
Thank you for reaching out to us.
May I confirm if your motherboard was newly purchased and are there any bent pins on the CPU socket?
When the system fails to boot, do you notice any Q-LED Core indicators?

Aside from following the troubleshooting steps outlined in the [Motherboard] FAQ of Q-LED Core or ensuring that the BIOS is updated to the latest version and clearing CMOS, we recommend minimizing the components in your setup for testing.

Please try removing the system from the case, then install only the CPU (use integrated graphics output if supported by your CPU), the CPU cooler, a single RAM module in the DIMM_A2 slot, and the PSU on the motherboard to check if the system can boot.

If possible, we also recommend cross-testing with alternative hardware components.

If the issue persists, we suggest promptly contacting your reseller for after-sales support or reaching out to the ASUS official service team in your region to arrange an RMA inspection.

Thank you.
