I have a ProArt PA24ACRV monitor connected via USB-C to my M2 Mac mini running 15.7.1 with DisplayWidget 1.0.5.3. When I click on the Preset page, which is the main function I want to use DisplayWidget for, it says that I need to connect via USB-C (I am) and that DDC needs to be enabled in the monitor (it is). I have also used BetterDisplay to control the brightness, and that works via DDC, so I know DDC is functional. This is the second or third version that has shown this "error". I know I'm not alone, there is another forum post here by @mas12112 that details the same issue and also had a screenshot attached:
If this doesn't work on these common setups, I'm not sure what system they have been testing the MacOS release on, but this is a bug that really needs to be fixed.

I have the same problem with the PA279CRV. I've tried every bit of troubleshooting I can find and still no luck. I was able to get the "SS" USB ports to actually perform like USB 3 by changing the DisplayPort streaming to DP 1.4 + USB 3.2 (why is it DP 1.4 with no USB 3.2 out of the box if it's supposed to be a USB 3 hub??).
I guess you get what you pay for. I may be returning it.
