Hide network speed meter (ZenFone 5Z)

Where can I turn the intrusive abomination off? Nothing should make such a fuzz in my notifications bar. I want it gone. Please help me.

BTW Who turned it on? Because it is off by default.

No wonder. If you haven't noticed, you're in the ZF6 discussion. This means that the answers were implicitly valid only for ZF6, You didn't mention in the OP that you have ZF5.

I know but the 5z forums seems dead. Since I have the same Ui I hoped for a solution. But it appears to be 5z specific that problem.
