Asus failed to enable Camera2API by default. There is option for you to follow ADB steps to enable from your end to use GCAM.

The phone first opens to the bootloader, then the next command:

 Fastboot oem enable_camera_hal3 true

After rebooting, install Google Camera Port to see if you want Arnova or BSG. If it is successfully turned on, the camera will not crash, so enjoy the camera effect brought by Google Camera!
