I guess, that case is more complicated that you think. See bro, Google is not interested in distribute native came 2 api and Gcam compatibility as does with Pixel series. It's a closed code and the best is developed only for google phones edition. BUT, you can use XDA forum to get the app developed for you model device, wihtout root or something like that. If you wish to root your device for better performace you can do as well but make sure you're using apps from secured source and the unlocking bootloader and root processes will expires your warranty.
