Hide navigation bar missing in asus rog 2 after android 10 updated.
Hey, can you share a reference of the same.
There is a new update as well, do check if you can find the same.
I guess navigation bar can be hidden using Gesture option.
Missing in the new update as well.
Attaching a sample video what exactly is missing in android 10 navigation and gesture feature.
The white bar hint for gesture navigation can't be hide for now.
Please consider for option to hide this constant white bar and taking the same space as 3 buttons navbar.
It feels like downgrade from the A9.
Btw, I don't know why the CN version has the customization option to hide this hint white bar.
I am using WW version rn.
The side white bar is ugly and unnecessary.
I don't mind the middle line bar but the side white navigation bar must GO.
Wait a minute, I've just realized it! There's a side bar lol!
Btw, as we are waiting for @Anders_ASUS to answer and forward this matter to the team, I am using Fluid Navigation Gesture + Immersive Mode app instead.
With Immersive Mode: hide status + nav bar (don't forget to set your navigation back to the 3 buttons)
Then, FNG for the new main gesture navigation. It's much better with lots of customization than native gesture.
FNG app wants money to unlock pro version to hide bottom bar. That too no guarantee of stability. I'll wait for Asus team to work on this.
Use xda navigation gesture. That is good too.
Xda navigation gesture is awesome that too free. Only effort required is to install the drivers.
use the xda navigation gesture
I already downgrade to A9.
He showed a video from a OnePlus, not our CN version. We're considering to offer this option too but the arrow will still be there when you have a keyboard.
Yehh it was from One Plus..I was also confused😂😂
lol my bad
we are hoping that this minor customization could be available in the next update.
as per right now, i am using FNG
I can fully understand it.
As I already used to the full screen gesture navigation, as the temporary solution rn: I prefer using FNG and it's not a big deal for me by buying a cup of coffe to dev for the pro version.
FNG provides more customizations than native or XDA Navigation Gesture.
But, I will use the native one when it is available.
Love you Anders_ASUS...... thanks for considering it.....hope will see it soon.
