Actually it triggers only when it detects that you're walking or device is shaking. Remember EIS triggers better under bright light condition.

But after Android 10 EIS got f****d. It's wobbling very badly. Juggling and Jelly effect can be seen.
With wide angle lens Video Recording with EIS has not cropped perfectly.

I'm sad. EIS was very good on Oreo days. After that. ????

Video stabilization toggle not working in Asus 5z(Android 10)

And now no Matter how many times we will complain for EIS Asus won't even make any changes to this.
