Gesture for gallery app.

The gallery app on zenfone 6 is good but since the phone is quite big, it would be great if there is a gesture option like swipe up Or down to exit from photo viewer like on most gallery apps, Facebook app. @CH_ASUS @Anders

It works, but swiping up or down is more quicker to exit than clicking on the buttons.

Currently we dont mix and match . If you are using the nav-bar "3 buttons" , then there's the "back" button.
With Q, we will also adopt Google's gesture mode, where you get the "back" as a gesture when swiping in from the sides. That will then trigger a back function.

I get it, but I'm not going to use the new android 10 gesture since it triggers unintended back press when scrolling photos left to right on my pixel 2, so I'm going to stick with android 9 gesture when 10 comes out , I'm specifically talking about the Gesture that enables the user to close the photo viewer by swiping up or down on the black bar above and below a photo and head back to grid view.
