Number of bootloader unlocks

Is there a maximum number of times you can unlock and relock the bootloader? I think I read somewhere you can only unlock it once (officially anyway)
I sure hope that isn't the case because I plan on chucking a custom rom on when there's more "custom stock" ROMs, no real point rn cuz no trigger or RGB support lol

You only need to use the official Asus unlock app once then you can relock bootloader and unlock again with: fastboot oem asus-official
And if you do happen to have a custom rom installed there is an RGB app on the Play store for controlling the back LED
I know, I've done that before :p I was wondering how many times it can be done haha
Ooo, really? What's it called?
How do i relock bootloader please tell me some one for asus rog phone 3
Not sure if what I did was overkill or not but I wanted to be extra safe with issues from past phones and this worked for me.
Make sure you're on stock rom both slots and stock recovery. Enter fastboot and type command "fastboot oem asus-lock"
Look for Asus ROG phone RGB in play store
I read it's about 30 times .
He was probably refering to this app :D
And as for your question you can only unlock once using asus's unlock tool "unofficially"
To my knowledge there exist a unofficial tool too but I dunno anything about it
But I don't see the point of relocking though as unlocking means getting black listed on asus's server so relocking won't do any good imo as they already know/can check device status on their servers
One good thing is that Asus phones retain widevine L1 even after unlocking

yeah ive got that, needs root but looks pretty awesome! :D
and i had to re-lock my boot loader because i couldnt get safetynet to pass, no matter what i did
but as someone thats always rooted their phone, the rog3 legit doesnt need to be rooted to enjoy it
Yep you pretty much get everything in stock
I only see the reason to try new roms but again that comes at a cost with no trigger support etc
But iirc omni rom developer managed to get armory crate on omni rom I dunno how good the port is though
