I think this is a tint issue because after putting a third party app to put a blue tint most of darkest color is now visible.. I hope they fixed this I still see a little of black crash.
I just bought the asus rog 3 and now i am facing issues with it. If i reduce brightness to 0. All the pixels got faded and i am not able to see the colors.
It is also happening with the night light. It's distorting the display.
I am not able to see even instagram posts in the night because of this and when you open front camera in the little light you'll see the black crush issue too.
I am also suffering from heavy black crush issue. The blacks don't have any detail.
These all are at 100 % brightness. Please make sure the screen is optimised. Or provide that gamma thing that one youtuber was suggesting. But make that it gets calibrated automatically.
Will we be getting any final update on this Black Crush issue shortly cause multimedia experience in really bad cause of that Black Crush thing. Also, I have noticed that the screen does NOT produce pure BLACK colour....in Videos where the Black colour is involved ideally AMOLED panel should shut OFF all the pixels in that area....BUT I have observed a light grey shade glowing where it should have been pitch black. This gives a feeling of IPS LCD panels and so the colours get distorted. Please do something about both the issues asap.
I'm wondering have the devs gotten to pxielworks and actually tuned it or are we looking at another overlay hotfix solution here? Kinda want to know if I should be excited or not.
