As per Asus India the supported band in indian versions are 5G (Bands N41, N77, N78, N79).Airtel bands are 900 MHz(n8),1800 MHz(n3),2100MHz(n1),3300 MHz(n78),26 GHz (n258, mmWave)so we only get n78 band in ROG 3 to use which is sad.

I got 5G signal with SA disabled in Bangalore. But speed was slow like upto 80Mbps. Either some firmware update from ASUS is required or Airtel is working on the network
