描述:
手機在更新最新的充電模組固件後無法充電。開始更新時手機電量為68%,電量為15%時自動重新啟動。重開機後,手機顯示電量穩定在85%。不久之後,手機就因無法充電而關機,之後也再不能開機,在關機狀態下也無法充電。手機正在香港維修,我想把舊主機板寄給ROG手機團隊進行調查,因為華碩香港皇家俱樂部拒絕了,聲稱原因是液體損壞,而且拒絕先對舊主機板進行功能測試,因為我可以想像,對於華碩工程師來說,用替換電池啟動舊主機板應該很容易。但不幸的是,他們選擇不這麼做。
維修報價是更換液晶模組、主機板、電池、副板和FPC。

建議:
這裡,我想提出一個更合理的故障原因。手機在更新完成前就自動重新啟動了,韌體更新無法正常完成,也無法回滾/轉返。

註:工程師在電話裡回我說,我需要在送檢時保持手機開機狀態他們才能進行診斷。但是我怎麼才能保持手機開機狀態?因為故障發生在午夜,我也不可能在半夜把手機送給皇家俱樂部?

Description:
The phone is unable to charge its battery after the latest charging module firmware update. It starts updating at 68% battery level and reboots itself at 15%. After reboot, it claims a constant 85% battery level. And not for long, the phone refuses to charge and hence shuts off, then never comes back on, nor was it able to charge during the power-down state. It is being repaired in Hong Kong, and I would like to send in the old main board to the ROG phone team for the investigation, as Asus HK Royal Club dismissed me and claims the reason is due to fluid damage, but also refused to run a function test on the old main board first, as I could imagine trying to boot the old main board with a replacement battery would have been easy for Asus engineers. But unfortunately, they opted not to do it.
The quotation was to replace LCD Module, Main Board, Battery, Sub Board and FPC.

Suggestions:
Here, I would also like to suggest a more plausible reason for the malfunction. The phone reboots itself before the update is completed, and the firmware update was not able to finish properly and was not able to roll back.

Note: The engineer replied to me over the phone and said I would have needed to keep the phone in power-on state for them to run a diagnosis. How would have I been able to preserve the phone at a powered-on state? As the incident happened at midnight, before I could send that to the Royal Club?

您好,從您提供的照片上可以看到電壓測點已有大量銅綠發生,皇家俱樂部的分析是液體侵入是沒有錯的,謝謝

這並不能解釋為什麼在更新前電話功能正常而只在更新後才出現問題。有沒有液體侵入跟是否因為液體侵入而造成故障不是同一件事。

我向客服提出想自行負責國際運費也要送回主板檢查,正正就是因為想找出真正成因不是嗎?

而且值得一提,在重新啟動之前系統並沒有如之前更新一樣提示更新已完成。
