AC68U C1 當初韌體版本 3.0.0.4.384.45717就很常遇到此狀況 後面皆有持續更新最新版本,但因為這問題很困擾所以後面的版本都有設定排程定時重啟 會再關掉排程持續觀察,謝謝。

Hello,
I have the same problem with RT-AC2900, but the problem seems to be caused by USB drive.
Without USB drive the router works perfect without any issues
After inserting USB drive (16 or 128GB, any brand) WebUI becomes inaccessible after a few minutes. I used factory reset, then inserted USB drive. In this case, router can run a few hours before WebUI becomes inaccessible. I suspect that memory leak or partition space issues might have caused WebUI to shutdown.
When WebUI shuts down, sshd quits as well. I cannot log into router with SSH to restart webui.
Disable TrendMicro modules (Traffic analyser) did not help.
Firmware is the latest version 3.0.0.4.384_81992, released July 2020

Hi yves31,
Could you tell me the USB drive is FAT32, NTFS or exFAT?
When WebUI becomes inaccessible, did you connect the RT-AC2900 directly or by DDNS? Could you pin the IP of WebUI(192.168.168.1)?
The issue is still happen when using other device(notebook or phone) and other browser?
Please show me the SN of RT-AC2900.
Thank you.

Hi Starrain,
USB drive is formatted in FAT32. I tried also exFAT and ext2 but they did not make any difference at all for the issue. When webui is inaccessible, ssh is also inaccessible and I tried using other devices to connect but failed as well. This is independent to web browsers and I am sure webui server is down. However everything else works well. I can surf internet through the router with any device connected to it. All router functions seem to be working well: Virtual server/port forwarding, DHCP server, traffic logs ( I checked after router reboot). I can also ping the router, but did not know webui has its won IP. I'll try later to ping webui, but I believe webui server must have been shutdown by the issue, so I do not expect it to work.
I also looked system log file and did not see any anomalies related webui or sshd. It shows restarting a few services, but I am not sure they are related to the issue. See below.
