Having this problem for 2 years. Go to settings -> network -> internet. Then, at the top, there is an icon to reset your internet. That fixes it for the next couple of days. It is a circle with an arrow and a wrench.
I think it is fine. I got one decent scratch since it was released. I'm not really careful and scratches don't really matter to me. There is also a slight bump around the lenses which prevents some scratches in my opinion.
