Same happened with me few minutes ago. Fingerprint sensor is gone. There are no search results for "fingerprint" in setting too.

Thanks but this will work if Asus would have released updates which my phone can't search. My issue pertains on the subject that Asus itself didn't release any updates after 33.0210.0210.235.

Same happened with my phone too. Sent to service center and it replied that it is "customer induced damage". Gave me the option to change lcd screen with cost around 16K and I had to refuse because it's a regular fault most people are facing with Rog...

Hey surjeet1, how did you find that your phone's motherboard has been downgraded from Rog phone 5s to Rog phone 5?If any option is available in phone settings to find motherboard version of any particular Rog phone then also, plz let me know.
