Answer from ASUS Support EMEA includes this (translated):"We would like to inform you that there is no known problem with ASUS ZenFones."They didn't offer any help but repair on my cost.
add my Zenfone 8, bought in March 2022, to the list. it just died while using it normally and didn't react to charging or pressing any buttons since.it felt like it had a poorer battery life in the days before it died.
