Keyboard just started to play up 6 months out of warranty

Not happy at all!6 months out of its 12 month warranty and I'm having issues with the keyboard. Namely the W button.And as a consumer who has supported ASUS, do you think ASUS would actually come ot the party and fix it if I ask them to?
