Software update broke the wifi and any number of other things . Phone is out of support cycle they won't fix it or help with software support. Pretty shady
You want to fix the issue reload your phone from factory turn off updates . It will work just do not update the system . Mine was broken also .I reload it worked overnight it updates os broken again it's definitely the update
