I cannot update my Zenfone Max Plus M1 (ZB570TL) to Android 8

My ZB570TL is stuck on Android 7. I can't update it to Android 8, I can't update it either via internet or manually.
Before anyone tells me to download the WW-15.02.1810.347 file from the official Asus page: I TRIED THAT. It doesn't work. The phone simply doesn't see the file when I put it in the root directory. Restarting the phone doesn't help either.
