HEATING AND BATTERY DRAIN PROBLEM IN ASUS ZEFONE MAX PRO M1 IN LATEST UPDATE

After latest security patch update phone battery drain and my mobile was heating to much in 5minutes.
Battery percentage drain in seconds:
100%-95 in 5sec
95-80 in 5sec
After 50%phone battery drain very fastly but in previous stable update battery performance was good when I upgraded my mobile to android pie phone perfomance was almost worse if you failed to problem .surely I will exchange my mobile. Worst perfomance now..😡😡😡

Try to clear cache partition. You can find the procedure on youtube.

Hi, when you say that your SOT (Screen on Time) has gone down, can you share the SOT after trying the below:
1. Charge the battery to 100% & use as per your normal usage pattern
2. When the battery strength reaches 10%, go to settings = Battery => Tap on the battery icon & share the graph

You may also follow the below steps:
1. Clear system cache.
2. Try the same under safe mode:
Hold the power button for 5 seconds => When the screen flashes with option => Press & hold power option => You will get an option to restart in safe mode
3. If still you face the issue
factory reset your phone after taking a full backup : https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1006346/
4. Last option would be to visit the service center to have
a check. Locate here: https://www.asus.com/in/support/Service-Center/India
