External Storage (Sd Card) Operations

Akasha
Rising Star I
Details of my device:
Model Name: Asus Max Pro m1
Firmware Version: 424 (Android Beta 2)
Frequency of Occurrence:Every Once in a while
Details of the Issue:
I'm unable to perform any operations in External Storage (sd card) using any Other File manager Apps apart from Google Files pre-installed in Android 10 Beta. It seems the permission is getting denied.
Any help with the troubleshooting will be appreciated.
I'm posting the relevant screenshots too:
Failed with Asus File Manager and total commander from Playstore:

Hi, we'd request you follow the below steps:
1. Clear system cache.
2. Try the same under safe mode:
Hold the power button for 5 seconds => When the screen flashes with option => Press & hold power option => You will get an option to restart in safe mode
3. If still you face the issue factory reset your phone after taking a full backup.

Dearest Moderator, I have realised the issue.
It can't be fixed unless the file manager apps are made fully compatible with Android 10. No, There's no way to make some file managers access the external storage unless the developers implement a storage access code through document ui.
