Asus Unlock Tool not working on Zenfone 9

Recently received an Asus Zenfone 9 and the Asus Unlock App is returning "Failed to unlock your device, please try again later.[24802]" when attempting to unlock the bootloader.  While running logcat I also see the following HTTP output:

Does anybody know if unlock server will work? Or it will never work again?

I just got off the phone with Asus support and they told me that they are no longer supporting the app. I don't know if that's actually what's going on, someone else might want to call them and double check.

It should be noted that the customer support guy could be wrong, because at first he didn't even know what I was talking about

Important Update : Asus just removed the unlocking tool from their website for the ROG Phone 7 & 7 Ultimate,most likely they will also took down the tool from their other phones. This is really horrible,garbage,just garbage I can't believe how bad they become.

This is really disappointing. One of the main reasons I sought to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM on my ZenFone 7 was the lack of security updates (last update is from september 2022!)

Now, ASUS has essentially limited our ability to take matters into our own hands and secure our devices through alternative means. I am left with no choice but to reconsider my future smartphone purchases.
