Anyone else had Wi-Fi 6GHz working?

Model Name: Zenfone 9
Firmware Version: WW_33.0804.2060.73
Rooted or not: Not

I have the ROG router GT-AXE16000 which supports 6GHz Wi-Fi 6E. The Zenfone 9 says it supports tri-band Wi-Fi, including 6GHz. When the Zenfone scans for the 6GHz network, it can’t see it.

Has anyone else ever used this phone with 6GHz Wi-Fi?

Thanks in advance

It’s not “Wi-Fi 6” guys, it’s “Wi-Fi 6E”.

Wi-Fi 6E introduced use of the 6GHz band for the first time. You would need a Wi-Fi 6E router (or 5G gateway supporting Wi-Fi 6E and the 6GHz band).

Looking at the specs on gsmarena it should support wifi 6e. Sadly to confirm that you would need a second person with wifi6e router and a fast connection.

WLAN: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct
