Android 14 putting Zenfone 9 into endless boot cycle

After I upgraded to Android 14, the first time I rebooted, the phone went into an endless reboot cycle.

I forced it to turn off, then started it again and it worked.

Just now I restarted it, and it went into the boot cycle again.

I've restarted it 4 times, and each time it's gone into the boot cycle.

This seems to happen as soon as the SIM is registered and it connects to a network.

Is this happening with anyone else? Anyone at Asus know about this?

Same for me, my phone updated automatically overnight for me. I added an AT&T SIM Card and a second one and everything working normally so far. Happy that I didn't do a factory reset.

Yeah - the LAST thing I wanted to do was a factory reset.  Glad I didn't do that too! 🙂

Is there a way to check the phone to see if the update has been applied?

My phone has been on all night, connected to the network.

Please go to Settings, scroll down to System , then scroll down to System Update and click on that. I've attached a copy of mine for example to compare with.
