i need help getting my notification settings back to the way they were

initially when I got my zenfone 8 the notifications would only show the app name and no other information on both the lock screen and home screen and the pull down menu. but now it is showing both the app name and the info like the msg content. how can i get my notification settings back to only displaying the app name and no other data in the home and lock screen and the pull down menu

Settings->Privacy->Notifications on lock screen. There, you can select if you would like to display sensitive info.
