Glitchy video stabilisation Asus Zenfone 8

See attached video. Stabilisation does not work and videos are unusable at best amd vomit inducing at worst. It is probably related to the gyroscope because my location icon on google maps also spins like a wheel. I thought i paid for a flagship, not a buggy mess????

This looks like a hardware issue. You should first try a factory reset. If that doesn't help, I suggest to send the phone to a service center.
