For quite a while an issue plagued my phone: incoming calls did not ring. I've only got notified of missed calls. Today, however I have finally found a way how to reproduce this, and have some assumption what else could lead to this.
Today, after I called back the number that called me, I have tested the issue with the help of my friend, and noticed that when the YouTube app with the video I've watched was in fullscreen (landscape), the phone did not ring. While my friend still in the call, I have left fullscreen, and noticed the incoming call notification, however at this point my friend hung up, so I couldn't test (yet again) how could I pick up the call (or how to do it ASAP).
However, this couldn't be the only reason for not ringing, as I wasn't always watching YouTube when this occurred. I've for example listened to music using YouTube Music before. I also can blame the KDE Companion app, but that helped me to hunt this issue down, and also helps mitigating it. I was thinking of Bluetooth headsets, but not even that seems to be the true issue, as last time I wasn't even using one when the issue occured. I do not yet know what else could cause this.
Currently the only way I can be notified of an incoming call for certain, is when the KDE Companion app reports the incoming call notification to my desktop, but that is not reliable, as it reports it a bit too late. Currently I'm using Kubuntu, but when I used Windows, I also used the Windows Connect app, and have also used ASUS' app to connect with the company's ASUS laptop. Currently I've paired up a Mobvoi TicWatch E3 with the phone, though that doesn't seem to interfere with incoming calls. Although it also doesn't receive the calls either, but unlike the phone, the watch doesn't even get notified.

Could you please help me with this? I am constantly waiting for important calls, and this cannot stand.
