Bluetooth broken since update

Since the last update my Bluetooth is a nightmare,no one can hear me properly.
I have it connected to a 2019 Toyota HiAce,s multi media unit and has always been crystal clear now I can hear them but they can't hear me properly.
Has anyone else come across this bug ?
Any ideas on a fix that doesn't involve a full reset?

probably some sort of software update in the van or something unlucky has triggered the effect. Many times the solution is easy but finding it is the hard part.

as for buying a new phone. Unless the phone is actually broken I don't think buying a new phone will be useful, I can't think of a phone that would be considered a meanungful upgrade to the ZF7, then again it's your money.

The only reason I am not convinced it's the Van is because it has worked without a problem for more than two years and there has been no update for the multi media unit as it needs to be updated manually.
Also the android Auto bug,I use a wireless device ( aawireless) which uses Bluetooth to connect then uses WiFi to continue. When the Bluetooth audio problem occurs I can not use voice commands as it too doesn't understand me . That too has worked fine for 7/8 months until now

Normally you have to connect a bluetooth device to something, otherwise it cannot know what codecs are supported by your BT device.

New theory. I noticed that the loudspeaker gets stuck on sometimes.
The only way to turn it off is by restarting the phone. So now I am wondering if that's the problem. Next time it happens I will disconnected it from Bluetooth and make a call to see if it makes any difference, but I doubt it

Finally got to check with another phone. The other phone ( Nokia G10) works fine,at the same time this ZenFone 7 doesn't work.
Time to put a claim in

It's probably the most premium build quality phone that exists. I've never had a phone feel more premium in my hand than the OP9pro. Also from workers who have the phone they where all quite happy with it. However OP is noitorious for terrible software support, so keep an eye out on that.
