[SOLVED] Incorrect "Next Alarm" indicator

Anonymous
Not applicable
The "Upcoming Alarm" indicator in the notification panel/System UI and in the default weather widget is often incorrect. In the screenshots below, it can be seen that the current time is 11:56, Sep. 4, and the next alarm - according to the clock app - is at 8:30, Sep. 5. However, the indicator in both the widget and the notification panel display (Thu.) 00.30.
At times, the indicator also displays 06:31 for no discernible reason. I'm on the latest EU firmware, (189_0).

When you tap on that "Next alarm" indicator, where are you redirected ? To an invented 00:30am alarm page ?

Just to the alarms tab in the Clock app, same as the one in the screenshot.

Has it always been like this?
What happens if you go to system -> Apps & notifications -> See all XXX apps and then you find the clock and weather app. Clear the storage on both of them and maybe it will fix you issue

Yess, from first boot. Clearing app data does not have any effect.

Lambaste, do you have Tasker installed?
If yes, set Preferences / Monitor / Use Reliable Alarms to Never.
If not, try Google Clock.
