Camera doesnt flip every now and then

I always thought case covered the sensors or it's the issue because of screen guard...past 2 days I've been using it using those two and observed when i open camera and flip it.....it fails for the first time and camera comes out a bit but after that no matter how many times u try it performs the job as intended
But whenever i open cam after some time or open an app like duo which open cam the mechanism fails and i need to press the flip button again
Is this the same with everyone? Or is it just mine?

Too much dust settled in hinges. Try cleaning and blowing of near camera on different camera angle.
