I am disappointed with the fact, that if I have the Always-on Panel active at all times, when a new notification arrives, it's icon is not immediately visible on the screen. The icon only appears, when the clock gets updated every minute.
I think it slightly defeats the purpose of the AOD for me, because I like to check the type of the new notification via the AOD before having to activate the screen. I think the AOD refresh should also be triggered when the notification icon needs to be displayed.
